Each self-paced High-Value Writing course includes an introductory unit, 3-6 main units of core curriculum, and a wrap-up unit. Each unit contains videos explaining concepts, with examples to illustrate and apply learning. You'll watch videos and answer reflective questions in each unit.
Yes. While the courses are video-based and include reflection questions you'll take here on the website, they also include three printable takeaways: A Syllabus listing learning objectives and course description, a "Cheat Sheet" offering a one-page review of the course concepts, and a Certificate of Completion.
All you need is an internet connection, the ability to watch videos and hear audio, and a place to take notes. Each course asks you to practice sentence revisions, so you'll want a place to write down those notes.
You will receive a Certificate of Completion when you finish any High-Value Writing course. You will also have access to a downloadable "Cheat Sheet" with the main points from the class. Each of these can be printed and shared.
